President Trump demanded that Joe Biden be drug tested prior to their first presidential debate on Tuesday.
Trump tweeted on Sunday morning that he believes Biden’s debate performances throughout the primary varied because he was being medicated to enhance his performance. The president, who did not present any evidence to support the claim, said he too would take a drug test.
“I will be strongly demanding a Drug Test of Sleepy Joe Biden prior to, or after, the Debate on Tuesday night. Naturally, I will agree to take one also. His Debate performances have been record setting UNEVEN, to put it mildly,” Trump wrote. “Only drugs could have caused this discrepancy???”

Trump has previously suggested that Biden should be drug tested before the debates to prove that he is not propping himself up with medications. He claimed that Biden was only “coherent” in his one-on-one debate against Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders.
Trump similarly demanded that Hillary Clinton take a drug test before debates during the 2016 election. No such tests were ever conducted.
