District police look for homicide suspect
District police are still seeking a suspect in a Saturday morning homicide.
At 1:51 a.m. Saturday, police found 23-year-old Antione Bates, of Northwest D.C., suffering from apparent gunshot wounds on the 500 block of Crittenden Street Northwest, according to Officer Hugh Carew, a police spokesman. Bates was taken to a local hospital, where he died of his injuries.
Police have no leads on the suspect yet, Carew said.
Woman sexually assaulted in P.G. County on Saturday
A woman was sexually assaulted in Chillum Saturday morning, Prince George’s County police report.
At about 3:43 a.m., a woman parking her car was approached by a Hispanic man, estimated to be about 20 years old and weigh about 175 pounds, according to police. The man pointed a gun at her and ordered her into the back seat of her car where he sexually assaulted her before running away.
The suspect was last seen wearing a dark-colored baseball cap, a dark blue Adidas polo shirt with three horizontal white stripes across the chest and blue jeans. His gun was black.

Man stabbed on H Street NW
Police are investigating a stabbing on the 400 block of H Street Northwest Saturday afternoon.
An adult male was found stabbed, but conscious and breathing, between 4th and 5th streets on H Street Northwest just after 1:30 p.m. Saturday, according to District Police spokesman Araz Al Ali.
Police have two suspects in custody, one of whom is a woman.
Police are still investigating the motive behind the attack.
