Rodrigo Duterte uses Bill Clinton’s affair to rip Chelsea Clinton after rape criticism

“I will tell her, when your father, the president of the United States, was screwing Lewinsky … the girl there in the White House, how did you feel?” Duterte said during a speech at a military event, according to Reuters. “Did you slam your father?”

Duterte’s comments about Clinton came after she criticized him on Twitter last week for making a joke about rape. Duterte, who once called former President Obama a “son of a whore,” told his soldiers they could get away with anything during his time in office.

“I will be imprisoned for you,” Duterte said. “If you rape three [women], I will say that I did it.”

“Not funny. Ever,” Clinton responded.

Duterte, who is known for making outrageous comments and for authorizing the killings of drug offenders in his country, said Wednesday he was being sarcastic.
