The gospel of bluegrass

Published

Jamie Dailey and Darrin Vincent set the audiences afire during their back-to-back debut performances two seasons ago at George Mason Center for the Arts and Hylton Performing Arts Center in Manassas. This week, the dynamic bluegrass duo returns by popular demand. “A Bluegrass Christmas” is a heartwarming program of sacred and secular songs blazing with delicious harmonies and spectacular picking. Vincent promises an evening guaranteed to teach the true meaning of the season.

“We choose songs that mean a lot to us,” Vincent said. “Everything we do honors the Lord who has blessed us. Christmas is a time of giving, loving, charity and making new friends. This show has a lot of different flavors with strings, an extra guitar, a piano, percussions and even a bazooka. There might even be a Santa for all the children.”
