Jimmy Fallon and Michelle Obama had a compelling discussion about parenting on “The Tonight Show” Thursday during which the first lady spotlighted a recent conversation the Obama family had in the White House about texting.
“The other day the girls [Sasha and Malia] were trying to clue [Barack] in on what a group chat was on text. He didn’t know,” recalled Michelle. “So, we’re all sitting around the dinner table and they looked him and Malia said, ‘Oh, dad, you’re so detached.'”
The first lady also admitted that her daughters caution her about listening to their music.
“Now, I’m at the stage where my kids are introducing me to music and they’re like, ‘You don’t want to hear this, mom. The language is too bad,'” she said. “And I’m like, ‘Well, what are you doing listening to it?'”
Perhaps Mike Huckabee had a point when he implied that Beyonce’s music is too inappropriate for the Obama children.
