Troopers arrest 57 for drunk driving over weekend

HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — Connecticut State Police say they arrested 57 people for drunken driving and issued nearly 2,000 speeding tickets over the holiday weekend.

Authorities said Tuesday that troopers also investigated 281 accidents including fatal crashes in West Hartford and North Stonington over the three-day Memorial Day weekend.
