Donald Trump Jr. has had a tough time adjusting to life after his father won the presidency, a new report says.
A friend of Trump Jr. and Eric Trump told People magazine the brothers despise their role as first sons.
“Eric and Don, they never wanted this,” the friend said.
Another source told the magazine that Trump’s eldest son “can’t do any deals, because he’ll be overly scrutinized. He just goes to work every day and is miserable.”
Trump Jr. has come under intense scrutiny over his June 2016 meeting with Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya and a Russian-American lobbyist at Trump Tower in June 2016.
The emails recently released by Trump Jr. show the president’s son eager to get dirt on his father’s rival Hillary Clinton.
The president has at least publicly stood by his son.

The source added: “You can’t bite the hand that feeds you, but [Trump Jr.] can’t wait for these four years to be over.”
