Comedy Central star Jon Stewart, host of the Daily Show, became the first fan of President Obama to compare Mitt Romney to the villain in the new Batman movie, a frightening terrorist named “Bane.”
In a segment Monday on Romney and the investment firm he used to head, Bain Capital, Stewart noted the same-sounding name as he suggested that Romney and his former firm were similar to the bad guy in the new “Dark Knight Rises.”
He even put Romney’s voice in Bane’s mouth. When the scary character is asked “what are you,” Romney’s voice says, “Corporations are people, my friend.”
