Snubbed: Eight other states gave Biden higher margin than Delaware home

Where’s the love, Delaware?

Having represented the First State for decades and running his presidential campaign out of Wilmington might have led some to expect that Joe Biden’s home would have given him his biggest margin of victory against President Trump.

But Delaware ranked ninth in the list of pro-Biden states, including Washington, D.C., giving him 58.8% of the vote, tied with Washington state.

And he only won two of three counties in the small state. The more rural, southern county, Sussex, went for Trump by 11 points. But Biden won the middle county, Kent, which had voted for Trump in 2016 and was considered a bellwether.
