Rep. John Boehner (R – Ohio) will remain Speaker of the House for a third term, after the House vote Tuesday.
Boehner will preside over the largest Republican majority in the U.S. House of Representatives since 1928.

Just 25 Republicans did not vote for Boehner, voting instead for one of the three “conservative” alternatives.
Rep. Louie Gohmert (R- Texas), Rep. Ted Yoho (R- Fla.), and Rep. Daniel Webster ( R- Fla.) all attempted to mount bids for Speaker.
Though Boehner won the Speaker role, many say the small uprising was a sign of a troublesome session as the party faces infighting between conservatives and the establishment.
