In an attempt to woo Hispanic voters in three congressional battlegrounds, Jeb Bush appears in three new ads.
In the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Spanish-language ads, the former Florida governor backs three Republican candidates: Rep. Cory Gardner of Colorado, Rep. David Valadao of California and Martha McSally in Arizona.
“Cory is a good man willing to buck his own party,” Bush says in Spanish for Gardner. “Cory supports the hardworking and entrepreneurial spirit of the Latin community.”
Hispanics make up 14 percent of Colorado.
Bush, who speaks Spanish fluently, is the second Florida Republican and possible 2016 candidate who has been in a Spanish Chamber ad. Sen. Marco Rubio, another possible 2016 contender, starred in one supporting Gardner in May.
In the 10 person deep potential 2016 Republican presidential field, Bush polls second and Rubio polls eighth, according to a RealClearPolitics average of polls.
