GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (AP) — The Courtyard by Marriott Hotel in Grand Rapids may reopen this weekend after being closed due to flooding since last month.
The hotel is part of the Plaza Towers complex. Residents of the 32-story riverfront apartment tower were allowed back in Wednesday. Plaza Towers was closed April 20 as flood waters entered the basement, swamping the building’s electrical systems.
