Sean Hannity predicts Devin Nunes criminal referrals to DOJ on Thursday

Fox News host Sean Hannity said he expects Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., will submit his long-awaited criminal referrals to the Justice Department on Thursday.

The off-hand prediction was made on his evening show during an interview with Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, and Fox News contributor Sara Carter.

“I know that the criminal referrals from Devin are coming this week, probably tomorrow,” Hannity mentioned as he asked Jordan if he thinks Attorney General William Barr find any officials in trouble with the law in his investigation into the origins of the Trump-Russia investigation.

Nunes, the ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee, has been teasing a referral of Justice Department and FBI officials for months, mainly on Fox News and occasionally on Hannity’s program.

He predicted its delivery by the end of last week, but that was after pushing back his prior prediction due to the expanding nature of his investigative effort.

Nunes announced on Sunday he is ready to send eight criminal referrals, including a couple related to charges of conspiracy to lie to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court.

He has not yet named anyone who might be in the referrals.
