WATCH: SNL lampoons Clinton NYC Subway debacle

Hillary Clinton’s struggle to pass through a New York City subway turnstile got the “Saturday Night Live” treatment this weekend.

The former New York senator swiped her card at least four times to pass the gate in order to catch an early morning subway ride on Thursday. Though New Yorkers noted that experience is common, the awkward moment drew wide notice after a reporter posted the video to social media.

In SNL’s cold opening, Kate McKinnon once again donned her Clinton wig showed why “the New York City Metro is the best way to get around.”

After a series of failed attempts, McKinnon’s Clinton gives up entirely, changing her tune. “A cab is the best way to get around,” the character said.

“See New Yorkers, I’m just like you,” she said afterward. “I never sleep; I’m in a hurry to get to work; and when I’m running, I really hate it when a slow-old Jew gets in my way.”
