Arlington County officials will present their work-in-progress findings from the week-long Columbia Pike design workshop — or “charrette” — Thursday night.
The county took a week to educate and consult with citizens and stakeholders about housing plans for the developing corridor.
Officials were wondering how they could preserve affordable housing while planning for residential areas to keep pace with commercial development in the area.
The wrap-up session is Thursday from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Sheraton National Hotel, 900 S. Orme Street, Arlington.
