Pan & Praise: ‘Long Island Lolita’ does her thing in Baltlimore

Published January 22, 2009 5:00am ET

Amy Fisher, who gained tabloid fame in the early ’90s as the “Long Island Lolita,” is scheduled to make her featured “dance” debut at Scores in Baltimore Friday and Saturday. She’ll follow her “performance” by signing autographs and posing for personal photographs with guests.

At age 17 in 1992, Fisher fired a bullet into the right temple of Mary Jo Buttafuoco, the wife of her lover Joey Buttafuoco, then 36. The shocking incident and notorious love triangle fueled three made-for-TV movies from all three of the major networks and grabbed headlines for months.
