A 15-year-old boy was was stabbed to death while walking home from Osbourn High School on Friday, Manassas police said.
Police said the teenager, whose name was not released, was stabbed at about 2:45 p.m. near Brent Street and Bartow Street.
He was attacked by several Hispanic men, police said. The motive for the attack was unknown.
In an alert sent to parents, the Manassas school district said the incident did not appear to be school-related.
The boy was flown to Inova Fairfax Hospital, where he died Friday afternoon.
