Montgomery County Executive Ike Leggett Wednesday appointed a development team for an ambitious mixed-use project next to a future Purple Line station.

The Donohoe Cos., one of the region’s largest developers, and Montgomery Housing Partnership will coordinate the effort at the one-acre site next to the planned new Silver Spring Library, at the corner of Fenton and Bonifant streets.
