Annapolis-based privacy and security technology company Passfaces Corp. announced that its identification technology will be incorporated into ParadigmHealth?s Integrated Care Management system. Offering remote and single sign-on capabilities, Passfaces will provide greater security to ParadigmHealth?s health care management software and prevent theft of personal or classified information.
Paul Barrett, CEO of Passfaces, is excited about his company?s selection and looks “forward to a strong working relationship with this health care leader.” Using the brain?s ability to remember faces, Passfaces assigns users a face instead of a text password, and these faces easily integrate into systems that require passwords for authentication. Balancing “the needs and requirements of end users while providing effective security based on what is at risk,” Barrett said he believes that ParadigmHealth is ahead its competition with its integration of Passfaces technology.
