Rubio endorsed by ‘Pawn Stars’ celebrity

Reality TV celebrity Rick Harrison has cut an ad for Florida Sen. Marco Rubio’s presidential campaign that will begin airing in the early nominating states of Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina on Thursday.

Harrison appears on “Pawn Stars,” a television show about a pawn shop broadcast on the History channel. That ad is being released just as other candidates have been touting their own celebrity endorsements: Donald Trump announced support from Sarah Palin, while Ted Cruz was endorsed by Glenn Beck.

“Over the past few years, people have tried to sell us some real doozies,” Harrison says in the ad. “But this is really worth something. When people see for themselves, I don’t have to convince them it’s a good investment. I don’t have to show them the value for their family. So when this guy walked into my shop, I knew he was the real deal. Trust me, I know a good investment when I see one.”

Rubio, who ranks third in the Washington Examiner‘s newest GOP presidential power rankings, is campaigning in New Hampshire on Thursday. He will attend a fundraiser in New York City on Thursday night.
