ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill. (AP) — A suburban Chicago man on probation for a child sex offense is facing new charges.
Twenty-six-year-old Austin Hamilton of Des Plaines is accused of exposing himself to children.
The Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office says in a news release that Hamilton was charged this week with three felony counts of sexual exploitation of a child.
Prosecutors say he approached children playing near their homes, unzipped his pants and began fondling himself.
The girls, between the ages of 7 and 9, ran and told family members.
Prosecutors say one of the girls identified Hamilton, who was arrested later by Mount Prospect police.
His bond was set at $100,000 Wednesday.
Hamilton could not be reached for comment, and it was not immediately known if he has legal representation.
