WHAT: Burned an American flag on public property as a protest statement. WHY IT’S DIM: It’s legal to burn the flag as a political statement, but, as Powerline’s John Hinderaker notes, “doing it outside of a fire pit, and within 10 feet from flammable tents poses a problem.”
