Police release video in search for man in attempted sexual assault

D.C. police released video today and said they are looking for information about a person of interest in an attempted sexual assault.

The incident took place at about 2:43 a.m. on Jan. 16 in the 3200 block of 16th Street NW, police said.

The man, seen on video, is described as Hispanic, in his late 20s to early 30s, about 5-feet-4-inches to 5-feet-6-inches tall, with a medium build, black hair, brown eyes and a clean-shaven appearance. The person of interest was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and jeans, police said.
