2 women accused of robbing elderly man

Two women have been charged with robbing a 74-year-old man in Silver Spring and one of the women was subdued with a stun gun as officers tried to arrest her. Montgomery County police allege that Paris M. Holloway-Candis, 24, and Chantay T. Kittrell, 21, spoke to the man at a gas station near Georgia Avenue and Colesville Road at about 9:45 p.m. Tuesday. The three began to struggle and the women took the man’s wallet and cell phone, police said. Officers followed the women into the nearby Galaxy Pool Hall. Holloway-Candis refused to follow police commands and was subdued with a stun gun. She was not injured, police spokesman Cpl. Dan Friz said.

The victim suffered bruises but did not require medical treatment.
