Montgomery County police are investigating the rape of a 52-year-old woman in the Aspen Hill area.
Police said the woman was walking on Georgia Avenue near Hewitt Avenue at about 1 a.m. Saturday when she was attacked by a man who forced her into a wooded area and sexually assaulted her.
The man then fled on foot.
Police described the suspect as a Hispanic man who is about 5 feet 5 inches tall, has a medium build and is in his 20s. He has short black hair. He was wearing blue jeans and a beige shirt or jacket.
