We all know that former radio talk show host Don Imus has stayed beneath the radar following his removal from the airwaves. But it also looks as if his wife, Deirdre, is taking a similar approach. She was the commencement speaker at Pace University last weekend, and her speech clocked in at a meager 351 words. She avoided any mention of her husband, opting instead to tell Pace’s graduating class of 2007 that “Children desperately need our help” and “The world’s children are very sick.” How terribly original.
No word if Pace’s female basketball team applauded after the remarks.
