More than a dozen ballistic missiles fired by Iran struck Al Asad air base in Anbar province, an Iraqi facility that host U.S. troops.
Missiles were also fired at a U.S.-Iraqi base in Irbil in Kurdistan.
The Pentagon said Wednesday evening the missiles “were launched from Iran and targeted at least two Iraqi military bases hosting U.S. military and coalition personnel at Al-Assad and Irbil.”
