Man shot dead in Anne Arundel
Anne Arundel County police officers discovered 46-year-old Bryant Donell Bagley shot dead in Pumphrey Sunday morning.
Bagley, of the 800 block of N. Rose Street in Baltimore, was found on the 200 block of Bolivar Avenue after police responded to reports of a shooting at 1:12 a.m., police reported. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Police are investigating and are circulating flyers offering a reward for any information.
D.C. police search for robber in Takoma shooting
D.C. police arrested two men after a shooting Saturday afternoon in a parking lot outside the Takoma Recreation Center, but a third perpetrator has not yet been arrested, police spokesman Officer Paul Metcalf said Sunday.
At about 3:15 p.m., three masked robbers — adult males in their late teens or 20s — attempted to rob four adult males on the 300 block of Van Buren Street Northwest, police reported. Police arrested two suspects, one with a gunshot wound, and both have been charged with assault with intent to robbery while armed. None of the victims was injured.
The robber who fled the scene is believed to be between 5-foot-10 and six feet tall, and between the ages of 15 and 20. Metcalf would not release the names of the arrested men.
