Fox’s Bill O’Reilly is on a book-selling tear, having three in this week’s Conservative Bestseller List, including his new one about the Wild West that dethroned American Sniper at No. 1.
Legends & Lies: The Real West is the first book to dethrone American Sniper from its perch atop the ranking since it began last month.
O’Reilly’s book is a companion volume to a 10-week Fox News series that began last Sunday with tales about Davy Crockett, Bill the Kid, Jesse James and Doc Holiday.
“And so it seems, the ‘legend’ of Bill O’Reilly continues not only for taking the top spot of the Conservative Bestseller List, but spot No. 3 (Killing Patton) and No. 5 (Killing Jesus),” said Christopher Malagisi, editor of the Conservative Book Club. “O’Reilly not only dominates the cable airwaves, but now dominates the bestseller lists.”
