Jolie, possibly Pitt, in Washington next week

Angelina Jolie will be in Washington next week for the D.C. premier of her movie “In the Land of Blood and Honey,” along with film’s stars Zana Marjanovic and Vanesa Glodj. The movie, set in Bosnia during the Bosnian war, marks Jolie’s debut as a screenwriter and also as a feature director (she previously directed a documentary). The premiere will take place at the United States Holocaust Historical Musuem on Tuesday evening, with the museum’s Director of Genocide Prevention Michael Abramowitz also slated to walk the red carpet. Jolie’s hubbie, actor Brad Pitt, may also be joining her, but it’s not yet confirmed.

“In the Land of Blood and Honey” opens in Washington at the Landmark E Street Theater Jan. 13.
