Trump to release full medical report: ‘It will show perfection’

Donald Trump plans to release his medical records in two weeks time and the details, he claims, will “show perfection.”

The 69-year-old billionaire is the second-oldest White House hopeful, behind Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, 74, and would be the oldest individual to ever become president if he were to be inaugurated in January 2017 at age 70.

Trump announced his decision to release a doctor’s report on his health within hours of a Politico report Thursday morning that raised concerns about the businessman’s eating habits and exercise regimen — or lack thereof.

“Over the course of his presidential campaign, Trump has said that he does not exercise or play sports regularly and that he eats whatever he wants — a diet heavy on bacon and steak,” Politico’s Ben Schreckinger wrote.

“In September, Trump’s discomfort during the second Republican primary debate, which lasted three hours, was visible. Afterward, he complained that the room was too hot and that the debate went on too long,” the report continued.

Over a decade ago, during an appearance on “Larry King Live,” Trump said it’s important for presidential candidates to be transparent about their health.

“I think you don’t want to get into a situation where you elect someone and then you find he’s terminally ill and he’ll be in office for about three more months,” the New York businessman said at the time.

Roughly an hour before Trump tweeted about the forthcoming release of his medical reports, he assured the Internet he’s in good health.

“I consider my health, stamina and strength one of my greatest assets. The world has watched me for many years and can so testify-great genes!” he tweeted.
