DC cop shootings: one dead, one wounded

Six Metropolitan police officers are on administrative leave after a pair of officer-involved shootings Saturday that left one man dead and another seriously wounded.

In the first incident, officers were called at about 5 p.m. to the 500 block of K Street Northeast for the report of a shooting. When the two officers arrived, they spotted a man who matched the shooter’s description and chased him to the 600 block of I Street.
