White House press secretary Josh Earnest said Wednesday at his daily press briefing that the U.S. airstrikes against the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria are working to degrade them, but ultimately will take more time.
Earnest said overnight that six targets were hit that resulted in heavy damage is Islamic State possessions including three armored vehicles.
