This weekend’s Meridian Ball may have attracted Washington’s A-list (though no Michelle Obama, even though she an “honorary chair”), but as far as celeb attendees go, it was definitely D-list.
A spy tells Yeas & Nays actor George Newbern was spotted there.
Name doesn’t ring a bell? Newbern most famously played Bryan MacKenzie in “Father of the Bride” and its sequel “Father of the Bride 2.” He also had a small role on “Friends.”
Also on hand: Queen Noor of Jordan, former Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff and ABC News’ Sam Donaldson.
