Megyn Kelly flipped out on air Tuesday at a guest who supports the #BlackLiveMatter movement, after its members chanted in support of killing the police.
She compared the response to Democrats in Washington, who have endorsed the #BlackLivesMatter movement despite its calls for violence, but condemned the Tea Party movement after the shooting in Tucson that had nothing to do with the group.
“The DNC just came out with a resolution supporting the #BlackLivesMatter movement, which BLM rejected, but they’re trying to tie themselves to the movement,” Kelly said. “The same movement that’s chanting ‘pigs in a blanket,’ ‘fry them like bacon,’ and these same people who were not long ago denouncing the lack of civility in America. Meanwhile, you got people connected with this movement putting up a sign of a roasted pig and Officer Darren Wilson’s name on it.”
“I don’t think we’re watching the same #BlackLivesMatter movement,” liberal talk radio host Richard Fowler told the Fox News anchor. “If you talk to any of the organizers in Ferguson, Baltimore, or New York the will tell you they’re a non-violent movement.”
By that point though the host had enough and unloaded on Fowler.
“Why are they not outraged now, why the double standard?” Kelly asked. “Why were so many on the left so quick to tie a few comments made by alleged Tea Party members to the entire Tea Party?”
Kelly tried to get Fowler to denounce the actions of #BlackLivesMatter members chanting “pigs in a blanket, fry them like bacon,” but he declined to do so.
