P.G. police seek armed suspect in robbery of TD Bank

Prince George’s County police are looking for the man who robbed a TD Bank in Laurel at gunpoint last week.

Police said a man walked into the bank, on the 1400 block of Baltimore Avenue, and posed as a customer.

He then gave a withdrawal slip to the teller, brandished a handgun and demanded money, police said.

The suspect then fled in a black four-door BMW.

No injuries were reported in the incident, which occurred shortly after 10:30 a.m. on Aug. 12.

No arrests have been made and no new leads have emerged, Prince George’s County police said Monday.

Police described the suspect as a man of Middle Eastern descent who is about 36 to 42 years old.

He weighs about 185 to 200 pounds and has a scruffy beard.

The suspect was last seen wearing a gray or black wig, a black long-sleeve shirt, bluejeans, black shoes and a multi-colored scarf.

He also was carrying a black folder.
