DC Vote, the advocacy group organizing Monday’s voting rights march to the U.S. Capitol, says it has more than 3,000 cab drivers working to spread the word about the cause. The drivers will distribute fliers, post bumper stickers and fly U.S. and D.C. flags in the days leading up to the Emancipation Day march. Ethiopian restaurants, major gas stations and the African Resource Center also will distribute information to drivers and residents. The rally kicks off at 2:30 p.m. Monday in Freedom Plaza across from theJohn A. Wilson Building, 1350 Pennsylvania Ave. NW.
