Get ready for a Ruth Bader Ginsburg biography.
The 81-year-old Supreme Court justice will have a book written about her by Shana Knizhnik — who created the “Notorious R.B.G.” meme — and MSNBC reporter Irin Carmon.
“Notorious R.B.G.: The Life and Times of Ruth Bader Ginsburg” is due out in the fall, according to New York Magazine.
The book is aimed at “anyone who loves R.B.G., especially young women who might go off their birth control so they can have their own Ruth Baby Ginsburg,” Carmon said.
Ginsburg became aware and is a known fan of the “Notorious R.B.G.” meme — a play on the late rapper, Notorious B.I.G. — this summer, though its Tumblr was created in summer 2013.
The second female justice and first Jewish female justice, Ginsburg has been on the Supreme Court since her appointment by President Bill Clinton in 1993. She often aligns with the liberal wing of the court and is known for her outspoken views on women’s rights.
