Trump teases British press: ‘This was your question?’

President Trump clearly didn’t like a question he got at the White House Friday from a British reporter, who said many in the U.K. are nervous about his views.

“What do you say to our viewers at home who are worried about some of your views and are worried about you becoming the leader of the free world?” BBC reporter Laura Kuenssberg asked at a White House press conference with British Prime Minister Theresa May. She was recalling Trump’s comments about Muslims, Russia and punishing women who get abortions.

“This was your question?” Trump said turning to May, who laughed along with others in the room. “There goes that relationship.”

Trump and May had met earlier Friday for their first sit-down in the Oval Office since the president entered the White House last Friday. They both touted the “special relationship” between the U.S. and United Kingdom while addressing the press after their meeting.
