NBC has Caps-Rangers with postgame on CSN

One thing I can tell you for sure and that is the Capitals are a national draw so it is no secret that NBC is very pleased to have the Rangers in Washington for game five at the Verizon Center. The game will be at 3p.m. and is the only one on NBC. There will be three other Saturday games televised on Versus starting early with game five of the Pens-Lighting game at noon.

The top crew from the network will be on hand Mike “Doc” Emrick (play-by-play) and Eddie Olczyk (analyst) will be in the booth  As always Pierre McGuire will be stationed inside-the-glass for Saturday’s game and Darren Pang manning the inside-the-glass position on Sunday. Liam McHugh will host NBC’s studio shows alongside analyst Mike Milbury.

Once the Caps-Rangers game is over CSN will have the postgame action live from Verizon Center with Al Koken, Alan May and Russ Thaler. Just like Redskins Post Game Live the network does a great job of covering all aspects of the game right after things end on NBC.

Later Saturday, VERSUS will televise Game 5 of the Montreal-Boston series at 7 p.m., followed by Los Angeles-San Jose Game 5 at 10:30 p.m.

Sunday will feature a doubleheader starting on NBC with Philadelphia Flyers and Buffalo Sabres on Sunday at 3 p.m. could send one of those teams to the Conference Semifinals and one home. Then Sunday night belongs to Versus with Chicago and Vancouver getting underway at 7:30pm.
