Continuing his quest to have Republican presidential candidates release their tax returns, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney argued that there is “no legit reason” for Donald Trump to hold back his tax returns, even despite an ongoing audit.
Using Trump’s social medium of choice, Romney tweeted that “if scared” to release this year’s taxes due to the audit, he should make public previous returns and make himself an open book.

On Wednesday, Romney created a firestorm by telling Fox News that there is “good reason” to believe there is a “bombshell” in Trump’s taxes, floating the idea that he might not be as wealthy as he says.
