The star of FOX’s hit sitcom “Malcolm in the Middle,” Frankie Muniz, isn’t a fan of President Obama’s nomination of Susan Rice as the country’s next National Security Advisor.
Muniz tweeted his disappointment with the pick – even going so far as to urge Americans to “wake up” and realize what the president is doing to the country.
Really? Susan Rice? National Security Adviser? Really? Another #ObamaFail. Wake up people.

He was later forced to defend his original tweet, replying that Obama is “letting our country down” by nominating Rice.
@cailenspeers Did I say I supported anyone? Just saying our President is letting our country down.

Naturally, there have been mixed reactions on Twitter about Muniz’s comments. Some people have applauded the actor for taking a stand, while others think he should “go back to obscurity.”
While Muniz has generally steered clear of publicly announcing his political leanings, he had joked on Twitter back in 2011 that he was considering a political run in 2016.
