Democrats saw a lot of money pour in after Sen. Kamala Harris was announced as presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s running mate.
The Biden campaign said Tuesday prompted the biggest online fundraising hour and the biggest overall grassroots fundraising day yet, with more than $10.8 million coming into ActBlue within four hours.
ActBlue is the main donation-processing platform for Democrats, which raised that amount between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m., according to the New York Times.
Just one day before, ActBlue processed $2.3 million in the same time frame.
