White House reporters’ kids invited to ‘mock briefing’ next week

The children of White House press corps members have been invited to participate in “Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day” next week, when they’ll be able to participate in a mock White House briefing.

The administration said reporters’ kids are invited to the White House from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 26. “The White House Press Office will hold a mock briefing along with other fun activities,” the statement said.

Reporters with kids aged 4 to 13 will be allowed to have their kids shadow them for part of the day. The statement didn’t say if kids would get to ask questions.
