CRIME SWEEP: A deadly delay, terror suspect, MoCo homicide

Published

DELAY: The family of a woman stabbed to death has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the city and D.C. police officers, claiming that the Metropolitan Police Department’s forcible entry police contributed to the death of the woman and her two children. The suit claims that officers waited for a supervisor outside an apartment while three people were being stabbed to death inside.

TERROR: Friends of Zachary Chesser, the 20-year-old from Fairfax accused of aiding a terrorist group, are surprised by the charges. Chesser is due in court for a detention hearing Monday afternoon.
