A suspect has been arrested and charged in the killing of Justin Carr, the man who died after being shot during Wednesday night’s protests in Charlotte, N.C.
Charlotte Police Chief Kerr Putney made the announcement in a news conference on Friday, but offered few other details.
A video and “good detective work” led investigators to the shooter, who has been identified as Rayquan Borum. Putney added that there may be other suspects, and the investigation is ongoing.
