DAMASCUS, Syria (AP) — In a story June 3 about Syria, The Associated Press erroneously reported the capital’s Old City was destroyed and recently evacuated by rebels after a cease-fire agreement. It was the Old City in Homs, not Damascus, that was destroyed and recently evacuated.
