Bestselling author John Grisham was spotted Sunday night at the Arena Stage checking out the new theatrical adaptation of his first novel “A Time to Kill.” The writer was seated in the orchestra level a few rows back for what was the opening night of the production, a spy reports. This is the first time one of the Grisham’s novels has been turned into a play, with this play being considered a pre-Broadway tryout.
“A Time to Kill” is scheduled to run at Arena Stage through June 19.
