Ivana Trump: ‘I’m first lady’

President Trump’s first wife, Ivana, revealed she has a direct line to the White House but doesn’t call often because she doesn’t want to make first lady Melania Trump jealous.

“I have the direct number to White House, but I no really want to call him there because Melania is there,” Ivana Trump told “Good Morning America” in an interview that aired Monday.

“I don’t want to cause any kind of jealousy or something like that,” she continued, “because I’m basically first Trump wife. I’m first lady, OK?”

Ivana Trump is promoting her book, “Raising Trump,” set to be released Tuesday. The book documents her marriage to the future president and raising their three children — Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric.

The pair married in 1977 and divorced in the early 1990s, when it was revealed Donald Trump was having an affair with his future second wife, Marla Maples.

Donald and Melania Trump have been married since 2005.

Ivana Trump said in an interview with CBS that her ex-husband offered her the ambassadorship to the Czech Republic but she turned it down because she likes her “perfect life.”

She also floated a possible presidential run for Ivanka Trump in the future.

“First lady? Holds no appeal for me personally. First mother? That could work,” she said.
