“Under President Bachmann, you will see gasoline come down below $2 a gallon again. That will happen,” proclaimed Rep. Michele Bachmann at an event in Greenville, S.C. Tuesday, where she criticized President Obama for gas prices jumping from a $1.79 per gallon when he took office to their current average of $3.60 per gallon.
Bachmann didn’t mention how she would reduce gas prices – though she has said she supports shale development in the United States and increased domestic oil drilling.
